Ciara Ford
About me

Ciara Ford is an actor, director, stage manager, and producer who works across various artistic mediums. Born in Canberra, Ciara trained at ATYP, NIDA, and The Actors Pulse, where she notably collaborated with Tim Dashwood, Billy Milionis, and Laura Turner. While studying a double major in drama at Narrabundah College under the guidance of award-winning director Rachel Pengilly, she served as the assistant stage manager for an award-winning production of ‘Puffs.’ Additionally, Ciara pursued a major/minor in media under Daniel Lane.

Currently, she is studying at Young Actors Assembly, where she learns from David Cuthbertson, Eleni Cassimatis, Adam Marks, Kat Hoyos, and Joseph Tanti. Her classes at YAA led her to play the role of Helena in ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream,’ alongside Romaine Patterson from ‘The Laramie Project.’ Ciara has collaborated with the company on two films, contributing as a writer for one and acting in both projects. She has also had the opportunity to teach holiday classes for YAA’s younger students.

Ciara has a strong interest in voice-over work, having been trained by Jen Seyderhelm. She started her screen career with a voiceover role in a web series and has received significant recognition for her screen performances, including an award for Best Developing Actress for her role as Aynne in ‘I Am Free,’ directed by Ujjwal Rai.

In addition to her acting, she has written, directed, and filmed several short films through her production company, ALONE. While still in school, Ciara was also an assistant stage manager for Ribix’s production of ‘Peter/Wendy’ at the Mill Theatre. She is dedicated to expressing herself through various forms of art, exploring her passions through singing, writing, producing, dancing, and acting.
